Child Safety Standards

Last updated: June 2026

Give Up & See has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

Our standards

  • We prohibit any content or conduct that sexualises, exploits, or endangers children.
  • We prohibit grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and the sharing of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

How we enforce them

  • Every story is screened by automated safety checks on creation; content matching prohibited categories is hidden and queued for human review.
  • Any user can report a story or comment from the "•••" menu. Content reported by enough distinct users is automatically hidden pending review.
  • Confirmed CSAE content is removed, the account is terminated, and we report to the relevant authorities (e.g. NCMEC and/or local law enforcement) as required by law.

Reporting to us

To report child-safety concerns or CSAE content, use the in-app Report action, or contact our child-safety point of contact directly:

Child-safety point of contact: info@venmara.com
We aim to acknowledge child-safety reports promptly and act without undue delay.

Compliance

These standards are published to meet Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and Apple's requirements for apps with user-generated content. Give Up & See complies with applicable child-safety laws in Ghana and the regions where it operates.
