Give Up & See ("we", "us") is operated by Venmara. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Who can use the app

Give Up & See is intended for adults aged 18 and older — people share true stories of hardships they overcame to encourage others. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

What we collect

• Account data: a Firebase user ID, and — if you sign in with email — your email address. You may use the app anonymously instead.
• Content you create: stories (text, voice, photo, video), comments, reactions, reports, and the categories/tags you choose.
• Technical data: a device push token (only if you enable notifications) and basic diagnostics needed to run the service.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not show third-party advertising.
• We do not require your real name — you can post as "Anonymous".

How we use it

To operate the feed, deliver notifications you opt into, keep the community safe (moderation and abuse reports), and comply with the law.

Sharing & processors

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging) as our processor. We may disclose content where required by law or to protect users from harm.

Moderation

Stories are screened automatically on creation and may be hidden if reported by enough distinct users or flagged by our safety tools, pending human review. We act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours. See our Child Safety Standards for how we handle child-exploitation content.

Your rights & choices

• Delete your account any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your profile and permanently deletes the stories, comments, reactions and playlists you created (including their media).
• Turn notifications on or off in Settings.
• Request a copy of your data, or contact us about privacy, at info@venmara.com.

Data retention

We keep your content until you delete it or your account. Aggregate, non-identifying data may be retained.

Changes

We will update this policy and the "last updated" date as the app evolves.
